1. At the Start of Rollover, the Existing Action is not shared:
During the rollover, the same action gets created in Next Period. Therefore, within this state,
2. At the Start of Rollover, an existing action is shared:
During the rollover, the same action gets created in Next Period. Therefore, within this state.
Since the action is shared in Current Period, the Share icon will be disabled in Next Period for that particular action.
3. During the Rollover,
If an existing action is shared and being deleted (from either period), then as per the existing functionality, you need to first unshare the action before deletion.
During the unsharing, share icon will be re-enabled in other period.
Therefore, the action can be deleted in one period and continue to exist (unshared) in the other period.
4. When Completing Rollover,
If the action does exist in the next period (but it is not shared, since the system doesn’t allow the same action to be shared from two periods) then:
The system updates the shared action’s IDs to refer to the next period action instead of the existing current period action.
Therefore, the next period action becomes shared and the current period action gets unshared and archived.
If some details in the next period action is different to the current period action (e.g. name has been updated or targets are different) then those updates also be visible.
If an unshared action in the Current Period is actually shared in the Next Period, after rollover, the Next Period action will appear as a normal shared action.
When completing the rollover, the Responsible Officer, Reporting Officer and linkages to hierarchies (organisation, planning and custom) will get updated to refer the new period IDs. However KPI data itself does not rollover and hence those should not be impacted.
Therefore, when completing rollover when the Reporting Officers/Linked Nodes get updated in the KPI, if that KPI is shared.
